Pureh are a project from Slovenia who headily mix together electrioncia, post rock, drum ‘n’ Bass & dark edgy cinematics since  in 1994.  

Signia; is an remix album featuring the likes of KK Null, DJ Surgeon, P.C.M, Psychedelic Desert, etc, but unlike a lot of remix albums this is an extreme enjoyable. It’s a very varied ride going from exhilarating dark bassy beat attacks with sensual female vocals, to sinister funk meets post rock work outs with cold feeling beat patterns, to jazzy and mellow interludes, to boiling towards all out noise.  You can here elements of Massive Attack, Senser and a few others, but they make it sound fresh, enjoyable and very much their own.

Really there is never a dull moment in through out it’s 77 minutes running time and it all seems to fit together perfectly the tracks sequenced for ultimate effect and atmosphere. This is my first taste of Pureh and I can certainly say it won’t be my last.
